On behalf of my clients I am urgently looking for an experienced Learning and Development Lead.
The role is being offered as a full time permanent position and work can be split between home and their offices in Sydney.
As the Learning and Development Lead you will report into the Head of Human Resources and will be responsible to provide and deliver a range of skilled training programs from various divisions.
A strong understanding and application of E-Learning platforms is essential to the success of this role. It operates in a changing business environment that requires well developed digital skills and an ability to transfer those skills as required by the work.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with divisional leaders to develop suitable programs to meet business requirements
- Effectively deliver training programs
- Develop and maintain a skills matrix
- Gap analysis implementation
- Maintain systems and documentation including but not limited to all training records
- Encourage people to build knowledge and skills required to be effective in their roles.
- Accurately present information in a clear and direct manner
- Role model organisational values and encourage others to do the same.
- Undertake other duties as required by your manager or their delegate.
- Adhere to all WHS requirements of the organisation and relevant associated legislation
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
- Demonstrated passion for working with people to develop the skills necessary to be effective in their work
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment or higher
- Minimum 3 years' previous experience working in a similar role
- Demonstrated successful experience in customer facing business role.
- Excellent planning, administration and organisational skills
- Ability to work within a highly compliant and regulated environment
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal
- Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills.
- High level administrative skills including superior attention to detail.
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast changing work environment that required multitasking and agility in response times.
- Proven willingness to embrace organisational change including use of modern technology and an ability to analyse and problem solve in the context of change and continuous improvement.
Desirable:
- Bachelor's Degree qualifications in a business related function
- Sound knowledge of WHS and employment legislation
- Previous experience with business transformation
