About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, Alpine Nurseries is looking to appoint a National Sales Manager who will lead a dynamic team of committed and dedicated sales professionals, who are focused on delivering exceptional results.
As the National Sales Manager, you will have a strong focus on coaching and developing your four direct reports and ~20 sales representatives to meet and exceed targets. You will possess the gravitas, experience, and track record to motivate an already experienced group of sales experts - this is the real key to success in this role!
You will demonstrate to your team the value of growing and maintaining strong client relationships, providing consistently exceptional customer service, and quickly remedying errors when they arise.
In close consultation with the GM and your team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Sales and Marketing strategies that target profitable sales growth year on year for existing customers in each channel.
You will provide input into sales forecast/production planning meetings and provide insights on plant trends and changes in customer demand.
