As a Senior Manager, you will be working closely with key client stakeholders on projects related to risk and compliance.
Your Role:
- Participate in Compliance workshops and provide support to the Group Compliance team for the alignment with the Operational Risk team and implementation of a new compliance framework
- Partner with key client stakeholders in the relevant business areas to develop an understanding of their current state in relation to the future operating environment and provide appropriate solutions and support for implementation
- Work with key client stakeholders to design, implement, assess and improve governance, risk and compliance framework and programs of work
- Accountable to successfully deliver assigned projects and results through collaboration with project leads / client stakeholders
- Maintain strong client relationships pre/post engagements. Identify critical deficiencies as well as opportunities for transformation / proposed solutions
- Develop training material and conducting workshops to help the clients understand the change in Compliance Risk profiling
- Mentor and train a team of consultants to move them towards the completion of goals and continuous growth / development
- Solution / Product Development for risk consulting practice. Industrializing the solution/product and then rolling it off clients/sales team
- Support the Genpact Australian Risk Management Practice and Performance in activities such as the implementation of firm-wide/team specific people initiative across the function
Your background:
- 8 + years of professional experience, preferably in a professional services environment, consulting or industry
- A recognized university degree in accounting, business, information technology, engineering, mathematics or other relevant discipline
- Understanding of the Banking and Financial Services Industry
- Operational Risk Management and Compliance Risk Management experience
- Outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal
- Decision making and problem-solving abilities. Delivery Focus - Good ability to work towards the deadline and lead multiple, potentially conflicting timeframes whilst achieving timely delivery and a consistent customer service experience
- Ability to develop cross-functional knowledge of risk management policies and procedures adhering to Regulators as well as specific internal corporate requirements
- Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for increased efficiency of the team through new solutions, tools and techniques. Including other necessary solution modifications needed due to regulatory within the geography
