Our client is a leading global banking organisation with a significant foot print in the Australian market, covering the retail and institutional sector. An excellent career building opportunity is available for a qualified accountant to join their local regulatory reporting team. Reporting to the Head of Reporting, you will play a leading part in the preparation of all local regulatory reporting reports for related entities and submitted to all regulatory authorities including ASX, APRA, RBA, ASIC and ABS. Specifically you will help prepare IFRS compliant annual financial statements, prepare ASX capital adequacy monitoring, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual returns as well as providing insight and forecasts relating to capital usage. To be considered you will have exposure to financial services reporting relating to regulatory requirements, ASX and APRA within the Australian environment. You will have a flexible approach to work and a strong desire to develop a long term career within the banking sector. You will comfortable working in a team based environment where you can contribute to the overall goals of the regulatory team.
