Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer who can provide precise and efficient payroll and remuneration services for all staff.
Working closely with other payroll officers, this person will be responsible for efficient, accurate and timely payroll & remuneration services, delivering high quality work and establishing effective relationships with key stakeholders of the business.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist Payroll Operations Manager in daily operations and preparation of reports for internal/external auditors
- Management of pay-related queries via help desk and email
- Preparation of material to exit fortnightly pay runs and off cycles
- Checking Certificate of Services, paid parental leave letters, purchased leave letters and figures entered in SAP and all Bank/Address/Cost Centre Changes/ Employee Masterfile Variations and off boarding of all staff
- Reviewing/conducting LSL, AL and SL audits
- Preparing redundancy and separation payout estimates
- Actioning super payment refunds and all WWCC, Fit2Work, Immunisation records in SAP
- Responsible for checking the setup and actioning of all superannuation arrangements
- Pay Cycle Exception Reporting Review and Checking
- Responsible for the actioning of fortnightly Salary Creep Increment reports
- Responsible for month end duties as required by management
Essential Experience:
- Customer Service
- Payroll processing
- Experience with SAP
Desirable Experience:
- Awards/Employment Agreement
- Exposure to payroll software packages, payroll related functions and processes
Skills required:
- MS Office Suite
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- High level of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and work under pressure to meet deadlines
