Primary Objectives
The role of the CRM & Content Specialist is to assist the execution of National CRM and retention strategy through building, proofing, analysing and monitoring web and email content. Reporting into the CRM Manager, the candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- A fundamental understanding of email marketing and customer retention principals;
- Experience writing and proofing long form and short form content;
- Experience building email templates (drag and drop functionality); and
- An eye for detail particularly with proof reading email/web content.
Position Responsibilities
MAJOR TASKS & SUPPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building web and email content that engages existing and nurtures new customers
- Aggregating customer insights and feedback from internal teams (Product, CX, DIS) to inform retention strategies
- Identify new content opportunities that directly address segmentation objectives
- Translate social and PR content into snackable, engaging email content that drives click through
- Contribute to testing and proof-reading email and website content
- Technical understanding of content creation through ESP programs such as Adobe Experience Manager and Salesforce
- Testing email template rendering through Litmus platform to ensure consistency between all clients and domains
- Audit email automations to ensure assets and copy are up to date
- Help develop new CRM creative concepts and initiatives that focus on retention
- Assist in executing broader CRM strategy through AB testing ideation and execution
- Paying close attention to weekly reporting from GA, CRM and Business Intelligence programs to identify insights that can be addressed in the short, medium and long term to increase customer retention rates
